Subject: Public Announcement that the Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC) commissions the Taipei Exchange (TPEx) to handle cases involving declaration filings and public disclosures made, pursuant to the Regulations Governing the Declaration of Acquisition
of Shares in Accordance with Article 43-1, Paragraph 1 of the Securities and Exchange Act, by acquirers of shares of TPEx listed companies or Emerging Stock companies, for implementation from 10 May 2024.
Basis:
1. Article 10 of the Regulations Governing the Declaration of Acquisition of Shares in Accordance with Article 43-1, Paragraph 1 of the Securities and Exchange Act.
2. Article 16 of the Administrative Procedure Act.
Public Announcement:
1. Entities from which declaration filings will be accepted: Acquirers as defined in the Regulations Governing the Declaration of Acquisition of Shares in Accordance with Article 43-1, Paragraph 1 of the Securities and Exchange Act.
2. Matters that the Taipei Exchange is commissioned to handle: handling of cases involving declaration filings and public disclosures made, pursuant to the Regulations Governing the Declaration of Acquisition of Shares in Accordance with Article 43-1, Paragraph
1 of the Securities and Exchange Act, by acquirers of shares of TPEx listed companies or Emerging Stock companies.
3. The Taipei Exchange is authorized to formulate relevant rules and filing forms for the declaration filing and public announcement matters that it is commissioned to handle hereunder. Acquirers shall comply with the relevant provisions of the Taipei Exchange.

4. In the event of any amendment to or termination of the matters commissioned hereunder, another public announcement will be made.
