The FSC hereby instructs migrant worker foreign remittance companies to establish a personal data file security maintenance plan and rules governing the handling of personal data following a
business termination. This notice takes effect from the issuance date.
Basis:
Article 27, paragraph 2 of the "Personal Data Protection Act."
Notice:
Migrant worker foreign remittance companies are non-government agencies as specified in Article 27, paragraph 2 of the "Personal Data Protection Act" and the " Regulations Governing Security
Measures of the Personal Information File for Non-government Agencies Designated by Financial Supervisory Commission", and shall establish a personal data file security maintenance plan and rules governing the handling of personal data following a business
termination.
